Donations for the people and animals displaced by the Klamathon fire are being collected at the Mail Tribune, owned by Rosebud Media LLC, and hauled down to Yreka by the Siskiyou Daily News.

If you would like to donate during the week, items can be brought into the Mail Tribune lobby or dropped off at 33 N. Fir St., where the Mail Tribune production facilities are located.

As of late Friday, donations have included cases of tooth brushes and toothpaste, water bottles, as well as dog and cat food.

The donations for animals will be delivered to the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds in Yreka and for animals at the elementary school.
