    Dennis A. Boshears

    May 5, 1947 December 18, 2011

Dennis was born in Medford, Ore., to Miner and Myrtle Boshears, the youngest of three sons.

He graduated from Medford High School in 1965. He attended Oregon State University and graduated from the School of Pharmacy in 1970.

Dennis took his first job as a pharmacist at Payless Drug Store in Grants Pass, Ore., and, in 1973, he transferred to the store in Eureka, Calif. He continued at the Mall 101 Store after Rite Aid bought out the chain. In 1998, he began working at Cloney's Pharmacy until his retirement in 2007.

From an early age, he was an avid sports fan, especially football and baseball. He followed the games closely and rooted for the Colts. He loved to play golf, especially with his sons.

He loved to travel; Dennis and Carole took great pleasure in their many trips and cruises.

Dennis was a kind and gentle man with twinkling eyes, slow smile and a chuckle that was contagious to those around him. He did enjoy a good laugh!

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Carole; his children, Brian Boshears, Andy (Sandy) Boshears, Greg Shepherd, and Elizabeth (Armand) Deny; and his four grandchildren. He cherished Kyla Boshears, Andrew and Ashley Boshears, Tristan Shepherd, and Luc Deny. He is also survived by his brothers, Ken (Avadna) Boshears, and Gary (Fidelia) Boshears; and six nieces and nephews.
