Suspect sought in Medford shooting

    Medford police have identified a suspect in the Thursday early morning shooting that left a man hospitalized.

    Mykalisteyr Ray Greene, 24, who is sometimes known as "Felix" or "Novac," allegedly shot a 22-year-old man who was dropped-off about 6:45 a.m. at Providence Medford Medical Center, according to a release issued Thursday evening.

    At just after 6:30 a.m., Greene had been involved in a dispute with the shooting victim, Medford police say, when Greene allegedly pulled a gun and shot the man, whose identity has not yet been released.

    He is described as 5-feet, 7-inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

    Medford police say that Greene is known to frequent the Medford area, is a known heroin addict, and should be considered armed and dangerous. Police ask anyone who sees Greene to call 911. Anyone with info should call 541-770-4783 and reference case 19-47212.
