Hypatia Wingfield and Brice Walters were married on Aug. 17, 2013, at The Thyme Garden in Alsea, Ore. Jack Veen officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jackson and Paula Wingfield of Toledo, Ore. She is a 2004 graduate of Toledo High School, a 2008 graduate of Oregon State University with a bachelor's in Spanish, and a 2012 gradate of Linfield College nursing campus. She currently works as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
The groom is the son of Robert and Karen Walters of Medford. He is a 2005 graduate of North Medford High School, and a 2009 graduate of Oregon Health and Science University with a degree in nursing. He currently works as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis and a volunteer firefighter for the Tangent Fire Department in Tangent.
Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Avin Terral of Klamath Falls, and the bride's friends, Cassandra Duboise of Tangent, Rachel Bruner of Corvallis, and Rachel Zielinski of Boise, Idaho.
Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Brady Walters of Salem, the groom's friends Nathan Kobinsky of Denver, Ben DeCarlow of Chiloquin and Nick Fife of Portland.
The wedding coordinator was the bride's friend Allison Jensen of Boise, and flower girls were the bride's nieces, McKenna Jackson, Alice Fenner and Olivia Fenner of Klamath Falls.
A reception hosted by the bride and groom followed the wedding at the Thyne Garden.
Following a honeymoon in The Cook Islands, the newlyweds are living in Tangent.
