Dana Hanchette and Chris Green will be married at 2 p.m. on Oct. 22, 2011, at Smithfields in Ashland. Aaron Gerwien of Universal Life Church will officiate.
The bride is the daughter of Paul Hanchette of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ann DuCharme of Kent, Wash. She graduated with honors from Black River Renton Technical College in Renton, Wash., in 2003. She later attended the Washington Running Start Program and Bellevue College in Bellevue, Wash., before earning her massage-therapy certificate and certification as a registered nursing assistant. She works as a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults at Ashland Supportive Housing in Ashland.
The groom is the son of Doug and Karen Green of Ashland. He graduated from Ashland High School in 2000 and graduated from Western Culinary Institute in Portland in 2002. He is a cook in the deli department at Ashland Food Cooperative.
The matron of honor will be sister of the bride, Lauren Nudo of Maple Valley, Wash., and the maid of honor is Camille Green,of Butte, Mont. Friend of the bride Marina Mahoney, of Maple Valley, Wash., will be a bridesmaid.
The best man will be friend of the groom Markos Photinos, of Ashland. Groomsmen are friends of the groom, Aaron Goldman and Jason Schulman, both of Ashland.
The flower girl will be the groom's second cousin, Hailey Taron, and the ring bearer will be the groom's second cousin, Cooper Taron.
Following the ceremony, there will be a reception hosted by Neil Clooney and Dee Vallentyne of Smithfields.
The newlyweds will have their honeymoon at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif., and the couple will return to Ashland.
