'A Midsummer Night's Dream'

The Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts' Magic of Theatre Shakespeare camp has been busy training young actors through classes and rehearsal, getting them ready to perform. The young artists will have their opportunity when the camp stages two performances of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," at Noon and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at St. Mary's School, 816 Black Oak Drive, Medford.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Tyrone Wilson is directing the play. He and his staff have taken a 400-year-old fable and turned it into a 2007 story making it relevant in today's world. Presented in a black box theater, the noon showing will be a brown-bag lunch performance followed by a couple hours of entertainment by local performers.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and children 12 and under.

Tickets will be available at the door. Seating is limited. See www.oregonconservatory.org, or call 776-9118.
