P.D.P at Johnny B's

Blow off those worthless Monday night blues when L.A. metal and thrash band D.P.D. plays at 9 p.m. tonight, March 25, at Johnny B's Rockin' Diner, 120 E. Sixth St., Medford.
D.P.D.'s progressive power grooves are at the top of L.A.'s metal charts. The band plays unadorned metal mixed with new-school creativity.
The band’s debut full-length album, "Mass Delusion," was released in 2011 on the Heavyocity Recordsn label.
Born out of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood — where guitarists Greg Harrison and Dane Markanson are instructors — the group has performed alongside such acts as Megadeth, Unearth, Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish and Dethklok, among others.
Harrison and Markanson lift the bar by playing custom 9- and 10-string guitars. Vocalist Kelly Tolliver, drummer Ro Batres and bassist Aldo Rodriguez finish the band's lineup.
