Isle of Klezbos

The East Coast klezmer band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at the Havurah Synagogue, 185 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland. The all-female quintet approaches tradition with playful irreverence and deep respect, and its repertoire ranges through neo-traditional folk dance, mystical melodies, Yiddish swing and retro tango, late Soviet-era Jewish drinking songs, re-grooved standards, and genre-defying originals. Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased at Music Coop, 268 E. Main St., or at brownpapertickets.com. Tickets will be $30 at the door. Call 541-488-7716 for information.

Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 1:30 p.m. Sundays.
