‘Spotlight on The Kingston Trio’

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Bob Haworth of The Kingston Trio fame, along with musicians John Hollis and Andrew Brock, pay tribute to the American folk trio that released 14 albums ranking in the Top 10 of Billboard’s top albums chart between 1955 and 2001. Look for tunes “Tom Dooley,” “Scotch & Soda,” “The M.T.A.,” “They Call the Wind Maria,” “Worried Man,” and more. The Brother Brothers

The duo — fiddler Adam Moss and cellist David Moss of Brooklyn, New York — will perform traditional folk and bluegrass at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at Fry Family Farm, 2184 Ross Lane, Medford. Britt Orchestra

Conductor Teddy Abrams and the orchestra will pay tribute to the Bernstein Centennial with the overtures from Candide and Serenade, featuring violinist Anthony Marwood, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at the Britt Pavilion, 350 S. ‘Snow in Midsummer’

When a young woman is sentenced to death, she curses her city from beyond the grave with a catastrophic drought. Years later, the residents of the parched, locust-plagued city are forced to face a past no one wants to remember. Playwright Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig turns a classic Chinese drama into a modern ghost story. The show runs through Oct. 27 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 15 S.
