Singler, Real rally for win

Kyle Singler scored nine points and Real Madrid rallied from big first-quarter deficit to down Asefa Estudiantes in the ACB Spanish league Sunday, 85-80.

Real Madrid, in second place with a 23-7 record, trailed 24-9 after one quarter but narrowed the margin to seven points by halftime.

Singler was 4 of 7 from the field, making his only 3-point attempt, and had two rebounds and two assists. He made one turnover.

Real Madrid is two games behind ACB leader FC Barcelona Regal (25-5). Asefa is 9-21.
