Late score lifts Kings over Blackhawks

CHICAGO — Dustin Brown converted his own rebound with 1:27 remaining, lifting the Los Angeles Kings to a 5-4 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night.

Brown's first attempt went off the back of Blackhawks defenseman Johnny Oduya, but it bounced right back to the captain, who sent it past Corey Crawford for his 12th of the season. Anze Kopitar set up the score by winning a faceoff in Chicago's end.

Kopitar also had a goal in the second period to end Los Angeles' scoreless streak at 150 minutes, 35 seconds.

Wild 7, Stars 4

At Dallas, Zach Parise scored two goals and added an assist and Minnesota extended its winning streak to six games.

Both of Parise's goals came on bounces that barely made it over the goal line. Mikko Koivu and Matt Cullen each had a goal and assist for Minnesota, which won for the first time in Dallas since March 21, 2003, snapping a 16-game losing streak in Dallas (0-11-5).

Red Wings 3, Coyotes 2

At Glendale, Ariz., Pavel Datsyuk scored Detroit's second power-play goal in the third period and had an assist, lifting the Red Wings over reeling Phoenix.

Datsyuk set up Johan Franzen's tying goal in the second period and beat Coyotes goalie Jason LaBarbera with a one-timer midway through the third period, giving him 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in eight games.

Sharks 5, Ducks 3

At Anaheim, Calif., Brent Burns and Martin Havlat each had a goal and an assist, and San Jose sent Anaheim to its third home loss in four days.

Havlat snapped a 15-game goal drought, Joe Pavelski scored just his second goal in 19 games and added a late assist, and James Sheppard wrapped it up with his first goal of the season with 9:56 to play in San Jose's final stop on a five-game trip.

Bruins 3, Maple Leafs 2, SO

At Boston, Patrice Bergeron scored the tying goal with 9:24 left in regulation, then put Boston ahead in the shootout as the Bruins held on for a victory.

Senators 3, Devils 2, SO

At Ottawa, Mika Zibanejad scored the winner in the shootout to give Ottawa a win over New Jersey.

Predators 3, Oilers 2

At Nashville, Tenn., Sergei Kostitsyn had a goal and an assist to lead Nashville over Edmonton.
