GWL BASEBALL: Rogues will not reschedule canceled game due to poor air quality

Tuesday’s game between the Medford Rogues and Klamath Falls Gems was canceled and will not be rescheduled for a later date — a move in response to the region’s deteriorating air quality.

No determination has been made on the rest of the regular season games. Rogues COO Dave May will make the decision on a day-by-day basis in the early afternoon.

Tickets that were purchased for Tuesday’s game can be exchanged for equal or lesser value to any future 2018 Rogues home game by calling the front office at 541-973-2883 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Christmas in July has been rescheduled for Saturday and has been renamed “Christmas at Harry & David Field.” The players will be wearing special Christmas-themed jerseys, which will be up for auction during the game. The proceeds benefit Access in Medford. Fans can bring canned goods to Harry & David Field to be donated to Access. For each canned good item donated, fans will receive $1 off the price of admission (limit 12).

The Rogues have already clinched a playoff berth for the third consecutive year. The Rogues will defend their Great West League Championship against the Lincoln Potters at Harry & David Field on Sunday.
