Phoenix's Tally lands on Skyline first team

Phoenix senior Delanie Tally secured first-team all-conference honors in voting by the Skyline Conference girls basketball coaches.

Tally, a 5-foot-6 point guard, led the conference in assists (6.3) and steals (4.4) per game to go with her 4.1 points per game in league play. She helped lead the Pirates (17-9, 6-4 Skyline) to a second-place finish in the conference standings.

Skyline Conference champion Mazama received two first-team selections in senior Hannah Reynolds and junior Megan Morris, while North Valley senior Kenzie Schmoll, Henley sophomore Natalie DeLonge and Klamath Union senior Jackie Gardner rounded out the list.

Also for Phoenix, junior post Baylee Toney was named to the second team while honorable mention nods went to junior Kasey Hamilton and sophomore Bailee Tally. Toney led the Skyline with 9.1 rebounds per game and paced her team with 10.4 points per game.

The all-defensive team was comprised of Mazama's Reynolds, Morris and Amber Lease, Henley's DeLonge and Gardner from KU.
