Cascade Christian senior Caroline McMahon took her customary spot on the Class 3A all-state volleyball team, making the first team for third straight season.
The standout outside hitter was joined by two teammates in drawing recognition. Senior Kaylee Cannon was second team and sophomore Taylor Cave made the third team.
The trio led Cascade Christian to runner-up in the state, falling in four sets to Santiam Christian. The Challengers, who won state crowns the previous two seasons, finished the season with a 23-6 record.
McMahon, who was state player of the year as a junior, had 485 kills and averaged 5.1 per set. She had a .343 hitting percentage, recorded 65 aces and 294 digs.
Cannon, a outside hitter, notched 153 kills and hit at .278 percent. She had 35 aces and 214 digs.
Cave, a setter, amassed 846 assists, 138 digs and 73 aces
Santiam Christian sophomore Emily Bourne was player of the year, and the Eagles’ Kelli Fitzpatrick was coach of the year.
