Hidden Valley leads in Skyline first-team picks

League-champion Hidden Valley had four first-team selections and the coach of the year in Skyline Conference all-star voting.

Henley’s Jessica Northcutt was named the league’s player of the year, while Hidden Valley’s Todd Lomica, whose team went 10-0 in league play, was voted the coach of the year.

Phoenix’s Sofia Tringolo, a senior setter and right side, was the Pirates’ lone all-league representative, earning second-team honors. Phoenix’s Katelyn Hanson and Josie Bolstad were honorable mentions.

Hidden Valley placed fourth in the Class 4A state tournament.


Player of the year: Jessica Northcutt, Henley.

Coach of the year: Todd Lomica, Hidden Valley.
