Medford Rogues third baseman Spencer Steer was named the Great West League player of the year and 11 of his teammates garnered league honors after recent voting by GWL managers.
Steer, who will be a freshman at the University of Oregon, was second in the conference in hitting (.345) and tied the GWL lead in doubles with 17.
In 37 games and 139 at-bats, he recorded 48 hits, 25 RBIs and 26 runs.
Steer, who played at Millikan High in Long Beach, Calif., was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 29th round of the 2016 amateur draft.
Outfielder Derron Davis (Colorado State-Pueblo) and pitcher Reece Green (Winthrop) landed first-team recognition for the Rogues in the league's inaugural year.
Davis led the conference with 60 hits and 40 runs while batting .287 in 53 games. He also had 29 RBIs.
Reece went 6-0 in eight starts (58 innings), recording a league-best 0.93 ERA.
Rogues to make the second team were first baseman Johnny DeLaCruz (LSU-Monroe), second baseman Connor McNally (Utah), outfielder Brock Pradere (Western Oregon) and pitchers Kade Wagner (Sterling College), D.J. Wilson (Lane Community College) and Kyle Robeniol (Oregon).
Braden Stutzman (Oregon), Cameron Russ (Lane Community College) and Dylan Pearce (Southwestern Oregon Community College) made honorable mention for Medford, which was the only team in the GWL to win 40 games during the regular season.
Right-hander Stuart Bradley was named GWL pitcher of the year after finishing 7-2 with a 1.76 ERA in 12 starts for the GWL champion Chico Heat.
Chico's Fred Ludwig was selected manager of the year.
