SALEM, Va. — Brittany Miller fanned six DePauw batters and pitched a three-hitter to lead Linfield University to a 9-0 win in six innings, sending the Northwest Conference and West Region champion Wildcats into a semifinal contest today at the NCAA Division III Softball Finals.

Linfield will play either Wisconsin-Eau Claire or Washington-St. Louis today at 2 p.m. PDT.

The Wildcats racked up 13 hits on Tigers' starter Megan Soultz, who came into the contest with 151 strikeouts and a glossy 0.78 earned run average.

Linfield's Stephanie Rice went 3-for-4, scored three times and drove in a pair of runs. Amanda Attleberger and Jena Loop both collected a pair of hits and drove in two runs.

MANHEIM, Penn. — The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) and the NAIA have announced its all-academic team, which included Southern Oregon sophomore Trevor Lofstedt and senior Dan Herb.

Lofstedt had a 3.33 grade-point average in communications. Herb had a 3.32 GPA in business administration.

The Raiders finished ninth in the team rankings with a team grade point average of 2.920 this season.
