Raiders drop to 23rd in poll

Southern Oregon's loss Saturday at College of Idaho as costly in the NAIA Top 25 coaches' poll, which had the Raiders down nine spots to No. 23 on Monday.

The Raiders (4-3 overall, 4-3 Frontier Conference) were No. 2 before the start of their three-game losing streak. In the FC standings, they've fallen two games behind first-place Montana Western and one behind Rocky Mountain (Mont.) and Eastern Oregon.

In fourth place, they're one game ahead of this week's opponent, Montana Tech. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Pacific Time on Saturday in Butte.

Rocky is now the highest-ranked Frontier team at No. 15. Montana Western moved up to No. 16 and EOU to No. 18.
