Ducks survive OT, advance in Pac-12

LAS VEGAS — Payton Pritchard hit the go-ahead jumper with 28 seconds left in overtime as the Oregon men's basketball team survived Washington State, 64-62, in the opening round of the Pac-12 tournament.

The Ducks (21-11) will next face third-seeded Utah at 8:30 tonight (FS1).

Mikyle McIntosh and Pritchard each scored 18 points, Elijah Brown added 10 points and Troy Brown knocked down a pair of free throws with seven seconds remaining in OT to seal the victory.

Malachi Flynn scored 22 points and Robert Franks added 16 for the Cougars (12-18).
