Let’s run some numbers
I don’t care how long Greg Walden’s family has lived in Oregon. What about his policies now and their impact on our district?
Walden co-wrote Trump’s repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Had it passed, one of five people in District 2 would have zero health coverage today.
He supported Trump’s tax cut for the 1 percent despite warnings that it would increase our debt $25 trillion in 10 years. (The Congressional Budget Office just corrected that prediction to $33 trillion.)
His “fight” against opioid abuse amounts to jumping on a bandwagon: The House passed recent legislation 396-14. Yet for 20 years, while the pharmaceutical industry aggressively marketed opioids, denying they were addictive, Walden accepted more money from the industry than any of his congressional colleagues.
It’s time for a positive change. Check out Jamie MacLeod-Skinner at JamieforOregon.com.
Warren for mayor
As small-business owners in Phoenix, we were very pleased when Stuart Warren decided to run for mayor. We’ve had many conversations with Stuart about issues that affect us as home and business owners. Stuart listens to citizen concerns and follows through with action.
Stuart has helped bring stability to the City Council by bringing people together, following procedure, not having a personnel agenda and helping to end the rocky history the Phoenix council has had in the past.
Stuart is committed to helping small business by focusing on our downtown, which he has already moved forward on in his role as chair of PHURA.
We feel Stuart has run an honest campaign with integrity and would be the positive new leadership Phoenix has needed.
We are proud to call Stuart our friend and neighbor.
Please join us in voting for Stuart Warren, our future mayor of Phoenix!

Vote for Gomez
We are writing this on behalf of Jessica Gomez, candidate for State Senate.
Jessica is a young woman with a fresh perspective; she is a bright alternative to the tired old ideas and unending fiscal irresponsibility that have prevailed in Salem. She promises to be a positive advocate for all of us, both Democrats and Republicans alike. Also, she will provide a much-needed voice for the Hispanic community.
Please vote for Jessica; she will be a credit to her constituents and a strong advocate in Salem.
