A Medford man has been arrested after allegedly taking revealing photos of his girlfriend as she slept, then sending them to her after they broke up.
Joshua Jason Boring, 40, of the 3500 block of Cherry Lane, faces charges of second-degree invasion of personal privacy and second-degree criminal mischief. Both charges are misdemeanors, according to Jackson County Circuit Court records.
Boring was arrested Tuesday and lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Wednesday with bail set at $10,000, according to jail records.
A woman who identified herself as Boring’s ex-girlfriend told police he sent her nude photographs of herself after they broke up, according to a probable cause affidavit by Medford police.
The woman said she had been asleep when the photographs were taken and did not consent to being photographed, the affidavit said.
The woman reported she and Boring had stopped dating around the end of April, the affidavit said.
Boring was convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants in 2001, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in 2012 and second-degree theft in 2017, according to court records.
