KDP Certified Public Accountants has elevated CFO Department Manager and Business Advisory Practice Leader Denise Lewman to partner. Lewman graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She previously worked as an auditor for Moss Adams, senior accountant for CFO Solutions-NW and as an analyst for Harry & David. She joins Dan Kosmatka, Stewart Parmele, Mark Damon, Robert Hague, Nancy Sash, Susan St. Range, Rory Tosh and Jeny Grupe in the firm’s partnership.
KDP has added eight other staff members — CPA Tracy Dutey is an audit associate and a 2016 Southern Oregon University graduate. Senior associate Shane Hunter is a former senior financial management analyst at SOU, and interim finance director for the SOU Foundation. He studied electrical engineering at the Rochester Institute before earnings a bachelor’s degree in business administration, an information systems certificate, and a Master of Business Administration degree at SOU. Financial services administrator Kristina West previously worked in law enforcement and social services. She earned a criminal justice and criminology degree from Portland State University. Associate Leslie Needham has served as a staff accountant and bookkeeper for firms in Medford where she prepared tax returns for individuals and businesses, and coordinated fixed asset additions and retirements. Needham earned an accounting degree at SOU. Staff accountant Riely Novello worked in accounts payable for JELD-WEN in Klamath Falls. Audit and assurance associate Anthony Martin earned a business accounting degree from SOU and a business information systems certificate. Eva Shipley was previously with Adroit Construction and was most recently in accounts payable. Maria Macy earned a bachelor’s degree in business at SOU with a focus in public accounting, and accounting information systems certification.

Insurance Marketplace has added to its Medford staff. Commercial insurance agent Katie Higgins previously was marketing coordinator for the Hawes Group and a marketing and conference coordinator for Professional Credit. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Oregon University in 2013. Personal lines and life specialist Toni McMillan-Arnspiger has licenses in property, casualty, life, health and variable lines. She was previously with Southern Oregon Event Management and was a Horace Mann agent for five years. Bond coordinator and commercial lines agent Lois Weathers has more than 15 years of experience in consumer and commercial banking. She provided administrative support for Family Life for 10 years, and before that was bond coordinator for Propel Insurance/United Risk Solutions and worked in Oregon Pacific Bank trust office. Benefits specialist Jennifer Sieg handled individual and Medicare sales for Moda Health for more than seven years and was previously an account executive at PacificSource.

Investment advisors Perry Stannard and Hobart Marliave have moved from their positions as Wells Fargo advisors to Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Both are vice president for investments and previously worked for A.G. Edwards, which was acquired by Wachovia and later Wells Fargo. Marliave began working at A.G. Edwards in 1992, and Stannard started in 2001.

Property management software developer Rentec Direct has hired Travis Uribe to maintain its software platform, as well as designing and programming new features. Most recently, Uribe was a software developer with Good Life in Medford. Beford that, he was a consultant, helping companies design, develop and maintain websites, applications and databases.
