On Saturday, a Southern Oregon march intended to bring about awareness of environmental health, jobs and affordable housing will join hundreds of others across the country.
The Southern Oregon March for Climate, Jobs and Justice will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at The Commons, 312 E. Fourth St., Medford, according to a news release. Anyone is welcome to attend.
The main march will start at about 3:30 p.m. after brief introductory comments from event organizers. It will proceed through downtown Medford, then return to The Commons, followed by a program of speakers and music at Pear Blossom Park.
