Could be a year before ex-Manor chief's suit goes to trial

I would very much like to follow the case involving Kevin McLoughlin at PRS. Can you tell me how I can find out where and when the next legal proceeding would be?

Former Rogue Valley Manor Executive Director Kevin McLoughlin filed a $1.425 million suit against Pacific Retirement Services on April 8. His former employer has 30 days to respond to the complaint filed in Jackson County Circuit Court.

If you have an Oregon Judicial Information Network account, you can track this and other court cases via OJIN OnLine. Be forewarned, like anything else involving lawyers, it's spendy.

As of Friday, PRS had not submitted its response to McLoughlin's complaint.

While filings, depositions and motions will flow across the judge's desk, it will be some time before the matter comes to trial.

McLoughlin's attorney said he didn't expect the matter to go to trial for another year.
