Steven Duane Baldwin

Steven Duane Baldwin, 62, of Central Point, Ore. passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 after a courageous battle with Lymphoma.

Steve was born May 8, 1951 to Raldolph "Red" Earl and Betty Jane Baldwin. He was a member of the Medford Senior High Class of 1962. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for six years. During his enlistment he spent two tours in Vietnam. Steve was also employed with the Department of Defense and Bureau of Land Management, retiring with 30 years with the Federal Government.

Steve took great pride in being a Mason and was honored to serve his community as an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge. Steve was passionate about bow hunting and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors while fishing, camping, playing golf, and riding his Harley. Not a day went by that he didn't spend time with his family and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Raldolph "Red" Earl Baldwin; mother and stepfather, Betty Jane (Baldwin) and Dave Allen; brother, Earl Raldolph Baldwin, as well as his first wife and mother of his children, Joyce Elaine Baldwin.

Steve is survived by his brothers, Gary Baldwin (Sharon), Michael Baldwin (Diane), and Ronnie Baldwin; sisters, Dove (nee Baldwin) Lengele (Frank) and Kathy (nee Baldwin) Dusenberry (Bryan); daughter, Jatina (nee Baldwin) Altinay (Cemal); son, James Baldwin; stepson, Lance Landers (Tara); six adorable grandchildren; and nine amazing nieces and nephews.

Military funeral honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Rd., Eagle Point, Ore., followed by a celebration of his life "party" potluck reception at Madrone Hills Community Center, 8401 Old Stage Rd., Central Point, Ore. beginning at 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in honor of Steve Baldwin.
