Samuel (Sam) T. Suttle


Sam left this world for his heavenly home with Jesus Christ, July 16, 2008.

Sam, a Virginia native, had resided in the Rogue Valley since 1985. Sam served in WWII and the Korean War as a U.S. Navy Radarman First Class. Afterward, he worked at Dahlgren Naval Weapons Laboratory, in Virginia, tracking some of the Nations first satellites.

Sam loved people, gardening, and woodworking. He enjoyed sharing a good joke or story. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Sam is survived by Margaret, his wife of 60 years; son, Tom Suttle (Cindy); grandson, Nate Suttle; brother, John Suttle; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for August 2, at 2 p.m., at Fountain Plaza, 1441 Morrow Road, Medford, Ore. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
