Ryan Bennett Beavers, age 25, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was born February 8, 1986, in Tacoma, Wash. Soon after he was born, his family returned to Southern Oregon where he attended Medford schools, graduating from South Medford High School in 2004. While in high school, Ryan developed a love for cars and drawing. He participated in many themed assemblies with friends, and was crowned Mr. Panther in 2004. After graduation, Ryan attended the Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix Ariz., where he met some lifelong friends. After graduating from UTI in 2006, Ryan returned to Oregon, settling in Bend. There Ryan worked for Carrera Motors for two years. He returned home to Medford in 2009, where he discovered a passion for antiques and oddities. Before Ryan's death, he, with his friend and business partner, started a company called "Mantiques", where they created unique furniture pieces for sale. He also continued to practice his love of drawing on a daily basis.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Brad and Ren Beavers, of Jacksonville, Ore.; brother, Chris Beavers; and sister-in-law, Andrea; both of Portland, Ore.; grandparents, John and Roberta Rier; and grandfather, Herb Beavers; all of Jacksonville, Ore.
A celebration of Ryan's life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2000 Oakwood Dr., Medford, OR 97504. There will be a reception following the service at the home of Brad and Ren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jacksonville Presbyterian Youth Group in Jacksonville, Ore.
