Porscha J. Diskin Schiller suddenly and prematurely passed away March 9, 2018 after a battle with an aggressive and rare cancer.
Porscha was a jack-of-all-trades, sharing close and loving relationships with many people from nearly every walk of life. Many knew her as a mediator and volunteer for at-risk youth. Many also knew her as the marketing and event planning extraordinaire, who was one of the leading figures in bringing the music scene into the local Southern Oregon wineries, but above all, Porscha's most notable quality was being a loving best friend, mother, and wife. It's a cliché to say that God broke the mold when he made Porscha but the fact is, he did. Porscha had this one-of-a-kind ability to make everyone feel like they were the only, and the most important person in the room, no matter how crowded the place was. Her inner and outer beauty cannot, and will not, ever be forgotten. With great sadness and broken hearts, her family says goodbye for now to their number one girl.
She is survived by her husband, Rick; her sons, Sean and Dylan; mother, Sylvia; and sister, Ellyn.
We love and miss you, now and forever.
