In Loving Memory
Nancy De Vry passed away on April 22, 2012. She was born August 25, 1915, in Victoria B.C., Canada. Nancy was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Nancy married Stuart De Vry in 1939, in Oakland, Calif., and moved to Eugene, Ore., in 1949, where they raised their three daughters. In 1966, they moved to Medford, Ore. They were members of the Rogue Valley Country Club, were avid golfers, enjoyed their R.V., and being snowbirds in the winter. Stu died in 1992.
Nancy volunteered at the Medford Visitor Center until a year ago. She moved to Horton Plaza in 2007, and participated in many activities there. She loved almost any kind of sports and watched most on television. She especially liked cheering on her mighty Oregon Ducks. One of the highlights of her life was the seven cruises she and her daughters shared.
Nancy is survived and will be missed by her three daughters, Linda Hykin, of Medford, Jan Tipping, of Central Point, and Pam Fryjoff, of Newberg, Ore.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family would especially like to thank the Personal Care staff at Horton Plaza for their love and devotion to their mother. At Nancy's request, there will be no service.
