Michael Roy Biondi

Michael Roy Biondi passed away August 14, 2012, from the arms of his family into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mike was born June 20, 1934, in Alameda, Calif., to Lloyd and Anna Setzer Biondi (deceased). He was married September 5, 1954, almost 58 years, to the love of his life, Myrna Inni Biondi in Richmond, Calif.

Their marriage produced five sons; Jeff (Cyndi) Biondi of Medford, Ore., Scott (Becki) Biondi of Eugene, Ore., Chris (Donna) Biondi of Medford,Ore., Matthew (Joy) Biondi of Keizer, Ore., and Michael (Shannon) Biondi of Redmond, Ore.; seventeen grandchildren, Nathan (Melissa), Nic (Haley) Keller, Kristin, Stephanie (Craig), Justin (Annie), Brandon (Alyssa), Brittany (Derek), Kylie, Zack, Spencer, Ben, Josiah, Bella, Blayne, Brennen, and Brantley; eight-great grandchildren, and one on the way.

He served honorably during the Korean period as an MP, then worked for Standard Oil.

Mike moved the family to Oregon in 1970 and went to work for the Ashland Water Dept. In 1987, their back to the land desire was realized with a five-acre mini-farm in Talent.

Mike retired in 1997 as an Ashland purchasing agent and cemetery supervisor.

His life always showed forth Jesus whom he loved and served in his quiet way: always deferring to others a genuine Biblical patriarch who dearly loved his family and others. We will miss him but rejoice with him now. We are so thankful for Providence Hospice and all our wonderful team.

Mike's prayer for all would be to consider the Lord Jesus Christ. He will never fail or forsake you. Also love your life with all your heart.

There will be a family gathering to celebrate his life.
