Mary M. Wilkinson

April 13, 1932 - May 7, 2010

Mary M. Wilkinson passed away May 7, 2010, in Everett, Wash., after suffering a heart attack and stroke on May 5, 2010. She had made her home in Marysville, Wash. for the past eight years.

Mary was born April 13, 1932, in Ashland, Ore., to Ernest Whitey White and Frances (Pratt)(White) Silver. She attended school primarily in Ashland, also attending Catholic boarding schools in Portland, Ore. She graduated high school from Ashland Senior High School.

Her careers included: McDonnell-Douglas in California, a teller in two Ashland banks and a real estate agent and broker in Ashland.

She was a member and former president of the Ashland Chapter of Soroptimist, volunteered at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and was a member of the Southern Oregon Historical Society with "Pioneer" status.

Mary's true loves were music, singing, traveling, history and her grandchildren, Patrick and Lilly. She was a very sharp business woman, a talented singer with a beautiful voice and proudly independent.

She was preceded in death by her younger brother who died in childhood, Thomas; her parents; and her husband of 13 years, Erwin Wilkinson. Mary leaves behind her daughter, April Raffensperger; grandchildren, Patrick and Lilly Raffensperger, all of Marysville, Wash.; and many family and friends who will miss her great wit and wisdom dearly.

She always felt her true home was in Southern Oregon, therefore her final resting place will be in Ashland next to Erwin. A graveside service and celebration of her life will be held this July in Ashland. Exact date and place to be announced.

We will miss you so very much. Your giving will never be forgotten.
