Mary L. Robertson left for her new life March 25, 2017 at Providence Hospital.

Mary was born June 11, 1948 in Grants Pass, Oregon to James Oliver Keller and Bertha Andina (Robinson) Keller. Mary married Richard Robertson January 27, 1970 in Central Point. Mary moved with her husband to San Jose, California where they welcomed two of their three children into their family. Her occupation at that time was being a mother and housewife. They moved back to Medford to help care for her niece in 1976. In 1978 they welcomed their last child into the family and Mary started volunteering at Head Start for the Eagle Point center the same year. For the next 34 years she went from volunteer to teacher assistant; she was also in the Head Start office for 12 years working with family advocates and families. For the remainder of her time at Head Start she worked as a family advocate. She retired in 2012. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and knitting.

She is survived by her son, Michael A. Robertson, of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters, Andenna L Briggs of Medford and Amy D Robertson of Medford; sisters, Frances Cobas of Florida and Bethine Keller of Nevada; brothers, William Keller of Talent and Melvin Keller of Medford; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James Oliver Keller and Bertha Andina Keller; and her husband, Richard Robertson.

A memorial will be held at noon April 17, 2017 at the Conger-Morris Chapel, 800 S. Front St, Central Point. Irvin Geiszler of The Rising Church (formally Grace Wesleyan) will officiate. Mary will be interred at Eagle point National Cemetery with her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to Medford Gospel Mission or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
