Malcolm Stewart

Malcolm Stewart, of Dittmer, Missouri, was born December 18, 1955, in Medford, Oregon, to Robert Alexander and Ruth (nee Slorah) Stewart, and entered into rest, Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was a 1974 graduate of Medford Senior High School. He proudly served in the U. S. Army for three years, 1975-1978. He received a Bachelors of Science Geography degree from Southern Oregon State College. He was a cartographer for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in St. Louis, Mo. for over 25 years.

Malcolm was a wonderful husband, father, son and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors, however his most precious moments were those spent with family. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (nee Davis) Stewart, of Dittmer, Mo., (Married December 29, 1984, in Ashland, Oregon); three daughters, Kayla, Kellie and Morgan Stewart, of Dittmer, Mo; his mother, Ruth (nee Slorah) Stewart, of Medford, Ore; two siblings, Marilyn (Adrian) Keohokalole, of, Kaneohe, Hawaii and Miles (Sharon) Stewart, of Central Point, Ore; and many other relatives and friends.

A service will be held at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ore., on Friday, August 29, 2008 at — p.m. with a gathering at the home of Greg and Debbie Taylor, 4123 Avenue H, White City, OR immediately following the service.
