Bill Hermant, 87, passed away July 13, 2018 in Mesquite, Nevada where he lived with his daughter. He was born November 9, 1930 in Westwood, California to Joseph August Hermant and Jessie (Moffatt) Hermant.
He worked for Weyerhaeuser Timber Company as a Millwright before he joined the Navy in October 1953, where he served on the USS Bonhomme Richard aircraft carrier. He worked for over 36 years building high-risers in San Francisco. One of his true loves was designing and building.
He is survived by his son William “Bill” Hermant and daughter, Jerry (Tuer) Kone. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is survived by several nephews and nieces, with one nephew who seemed more like a little brother, Tom Hermant.
He has come home to Rest in Peace with his family in Klamath Falls. Graveside service will be held at Klamath Memorial Park, Friday, July 27 at 3:00 p.m.
