John Buck Gallegly

John “Buck” Gallegly

We were blessed to have Buck with us for 74 wonderful years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

A man of integrity and duty, his occupations included a USAF Airman who honorably served in the Vietnam War, a welder, and iron worker who helped build Disneyland’s Space Mountain and the Applegate Dam, a mobile home park, and multi-family property owner and manager.

Buck was a dedicated family man who worked hard and sacrificed all his life in order to provide his family with everything they needed while securing them a brighter future.

Buck will best be remembered for his ornery sense of humor, his friendship, his work ethic, being easy to laugh and his dedication to his family. He was an integral part of a large family unit, which was fortunate enough to have a storybook relationship for decades, providing all of us with such fond, warm memories of love and happiness.

Buck is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; his daughter, Robin and her husband, Ken Schill; his son, Michael and his wife, Danielle; six grandchildren, Morgan, Kristopher, Bailey, Allison, Brooklyn, and Robbianna; and his brother, Tim. Buck also loved, and was very close to his sister-in-law, Susie; her husband, John; and their two children, Shannon and Chris.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at New Horizon Christian Fellowship Church, 1909 Homedale Rd, Klamath Falls, OR 97603.

He is loved and missed.
