Jean Milton Tepper

Jean (Gene) Milton Tepper, 89, passed away on November 17, 2007. He was born to Edward A. Tepper and Alice (Houske) Tepper on April, 12, 1918, in Stayton, N.D. Eventually the family moved to Klamath Falls.

On February 1, 1939, he married the love of his life, Norma Yarnell, in Reno, Nev. They made their home in Klamath Falls and raised a family of three sons. They moved to Ashland where they have lived for over 55 years. Gene worked most of his life in the timber industry throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.

He is survived by his wife of almost 69 years, Norma; his three sons, Jerry, of Ashland, Gale (Katharine) and Dale (Sandy) of Medford; two grandchildren, Michael (Cricket) Tepper of Medford and Danielle (Ken) Shearer, of Wood River, Nebr.; and four great-grandsons, Tyler, Bryce, Tanner Tepper, and Lane Shearer.

There will be no service.

He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
