Irene Estelle Harris, 77, of Medford, Ore., passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at her home. She was born June 10, 1934, in Burbank, Calif., to Richard Earl and Grace Elizabeth (Hampson) Wyman.
In 1952, in Seattle, Wash., Irene married William Harris. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1970, from Spokane, Wash. They lived in various areas during Bill's military career.
Irene has been a medical transcriptionist and bookkeeper for the Medford Orthopedic Group. Bill and Irene were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Irene enjoyed quilting and playing tennis and golf.
Irene is survived by husband, Bill; daughters, Deborah Ann Clemens and Jacqueline Marie Loos, both of Medford, Ore., Lesa Susan Harris and Roberta Kay Douglass, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons, Wayne Gregory Harris, of Eugene, Ore., Roger Steven Harris, of Medford, Ore., and William Patrick Harris, of Yankton, S.D.; sister, Patricia Reilly, of Scott Lake, Wash.; brother, Richard E. Wyman, of Seattle Wash.; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the recitation of Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2011, at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford, Ore. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Medford. Interment will follow at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
