Harry S. 'Bud' Note

Bud, 87, passed away May 18, 2012, at Cottage Respite in Klamath Falls, Ore. He was born October 5, 1924 in Seattle, Wash. The second son of Rex J. and Mary V. Note, he grew up in Jerome, Idaho, and moved to Palo Alto, Calif., when he was in high school. He joined the Marines in 1942, and served throughout World War II. He stayed in the Marine Reserves and was recalled in 1951 to serve in Korea. He owned a logging truck and worked with his dad and brothers in the logging industry for a number of years. After he sold his truck he was a first-class loader for Leroy Edwards and

retired from Plumley Logging.

His favorite things were water skiing, golf, hunting, fishing, camping, and trail riding on his beloved horse, Shadow. Planning hunting and fishing trips with his brothers and nephews every summer and fall were a high priority for years.

Bud married Frances Dallaire in 1956. Frances passed away in 1994. In 1996, he married Larrine Harris, who passed away December 28, 2011. He is survived by his sister, Hazel Davis, of Roseville, Calif.; and three sisters-in-law, Audree Note, Ruth Note, of Medford, Ore., and D'Ann Note, of Sparks, Nev. He has three nieces and five nephews whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Gerald Note, Roger Note, and Raymond Note.

A memorial service is planned for later this summer. He will be interred at Siskiyou Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers,

contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
