Gerald Bruce Scott

Born in Detroit, Mich., to parents, Bloss and Pearl Scott, Bruce was the oldest of four childeren: James (deceased), Doris, and Nancy (deceased). In 1942, Bruce answered the call to serve his country as a P-51 Mustang fighter pilot, earning many air medals over Germany, France, and the Polesti. His military career ended in 1957 as a reservist and ,during those years, married his childhood sweetheart, Patricia Aurich, of Muskegon, Mich. They had four daughters, Jeanne Park, of Silver Springs Nev., Patricia Jennings, of Herndon Va., Jill Colebank, of Lynnwood Wash., and Deborah McHeffey of Lynnwood, Wash. His employers included Texaco, in Montebello, Calif., the US Government in Reno, Nev., Boeing, in Seattle, Wash., and 3M, in White City, Ore., where he retired. They settled in Marysville, Wash. where he passed away, leaving behind his wife; daughters and their families; grandchildren, Leone Park, Ryan Jennings, Jeff Jennings, David Lewellen, Randy Lewellen, Jennifer Howards, and Ashley McHeffey; and his great granchildren, Brandon Park, Benjamin and Ethan Jennings, Conner Lewellen, Lily Howards, and Alliana and Dominic Pierce.

Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Grandpa, Papa, Daddy and Friend: he is our hero, and we will miss him.
