Gary Lee Boucher

Gary Lee Boucher

November 7, 1959 - March 28, 2018

Our beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully in his sleep March 28, 2018 at his home in Medford, Oregon.

Born in Newport Beach, California to Don and Sandra Boucher, Gary moved with his family to Medford when he was five years old. He graduated in 1977 from Medford High School.

Gary was an Army veteran, and later received his A.A. degree at Southwestern Oregon Community College and graduated from Oregon Coast Culinary Institute. He loved to cook, and he worked in several restaurants before helping to care for his father, who passed away last year. In addition to cooking, Gary liked camping, chess, old movies, and gatherings with friends or family, where he shared his hilarious sense of humor.

Gary is survived by his mother, Sandra Boucher; his brother, Don J. Boucher (Vicki Lakes); his sisters, Wendy Boucher Garrett (Tate) and Alison Boucher Durkee (Robert); and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved golden retriever, Honey. Gary will be buried next to his father and sister-in-law at Jacksonville Cemetery.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Bear Creek Park Pavillion off Siskiyou Blvd. in Medford.
