Frank R. Jameson, 75, of Medford, Ore., passed away at his home on Monday, May 25, 2009. Frank (Francis) was born on June 2, 1933 in Mohler, Idaho to parents Walter and Agnes Jameson. Frank began his proud service in the military in 1950 and served in the U.S. Navy, Seabees and U.S. Air Force. He received the distinctive service medal for his service during the Korean War.

Frank was a former member of the Elk's and Moose lodges and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles lodge in Medford. He was self employed for a number of years before retiring to enjoy his love of camping as much as possible.

Frank is survived by three sons, Ron Jameson, of Central Point, Randy Jameson, of Medford and John Jameson, of Phoenix; sister, Myrtle and brother-In-law, John Hamilton, of Lewiston, Idaho; and sister, Vivian also from Idaho. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his companion of many years, Janie Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Elmer, who was killed while serving his country during World War II.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at — p.m. at the Veteran's Affairs National Cemetery in Eagle Point for family and friends.
