Marie passed away at her home in Prospect, Ore., on May 23, 2009.

Anyone who visited Marie's home knew she took her Indian Heritage seriously as she displayed her many treasures with pride.

Marie's favorite past times were having picnics on Elk Creek, watching T.V. and reading a good book, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia; son, Michael Gaswint and his wife, Tabitha; daughter, Jules Glover and companion, Billy Coache; two sisters, Rene Sfragidas and her husband, Pete, Cherri Schmidt and her husband Wade; two grandchildren, Mia Green and Kamden Gaswint; and numerous nieces and nephews.
