Edgar B. Lupton ("Ed" to his family and friends) was born on Jan. 14, 1943, in Passaic, N.J. Ed was raised as an only child. After graduating from high school, he married the love of his life, Joanne Kowtko, on July 13, 1963, in East Patterson, N.J.. In 1965, they welcomed a daughter, Donna. Two years later, they added a son, William ("Billy" to the family). In 1969, Ed and the family moved to the west coast, landing in California.

Ed worked as a Senior Utility Supervisor for Milpitas, Calif. He retired in 1990. Then in 2003, Ed and Joanne moved to Oregon to be near their children and grandchildren. Ed's interests and hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and woodworking, but the thing he loved the most was being "Papa" to his grandchildren.

Ed is survived by his wife, Joanne, of Eagle Point, Ore.; their daughter, Donna D'Inzillio, and her husband, Art, of Central Point, Ore.; his son, William "Billy" Lupton, and his wife, Denise, of Jacksonville, Ore.; his father, Edgar Lupton, Sr., of Medford, Ore.; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Allie and Danielle D'Inzillo, and Brandon, Anthony and Jocelyn Lupton.

Ed's family and friends will miss him greatly, and he'll remain in our hearts forever. Many thanks to all who provided support to our family.
