In Memory of Dorothy "Peg" K. Moldenhauer

Peg was born in Batavia, N.Y. on June 19, 1922, the second child of William and Mary Yunker. Peg was always a very outgoing person who showed love and concern for her family and anyone she met. A true mother to all. She had a generous nature and was a prolific letter writer, always encouraging others, she corresponded with over 200 people every year. She left her daily lifetime journal for her family full of wisdom, values and expression of love and faith in her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Peg passed away peacefully on June 9, in the home of daughter Joanne, comforted by the family's prayer of Psalm 103. By God's grace, at her side was her husband of 63 years, Karl, her sister Joan, her daughter Joanne and Richard Hebert, son Jim and Rhondelle Moldenhauer and their son Timothy, grandchildren John and wife D' Anna Wilcox, Matt and wife Diane Wilcox and great-grandchildren Mason and Sienna. Peg's ashes will be divided between her home in Medford and her hometown Oakfield, N.Y. In addition to her sister Joan, she is survived by five brothers, John, Paul, Robert, Richard, and Donald Yunker and their spouses.

A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Oakdale in Medford, Ore., at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
