Donna later moved to Dallas, Ore., where she continued her education, career and passion of helping those in need.

Donna is remembered by her friends and family to have been a nature lover and an outdoors person who loved camping, horseback riding, and fly fishing in her earlier days. She was an activities director and nurse's aide for many years at various hospitals and rest homes and was always considered a valued advocate for the elderly and anyone in need. Donna had a true gift of music and played several stringed instruments, especially appreciated as hoe-down fiddle player who loved bluegrass and old-time fiddle favorites.
