December 1, 1933 - July 15, 2018
Diane Findley Cooper went home into the arms of her Heavenly Father July 15, 2018. She is one of the greats: wife, sister, friend, and the best mom that her children could ever have. Born December 1, 1933 to Dwight and Marjorie Findley, she grew up in Medford, Oregon with her loving parents and siblings, filled to the brim with happy memories and fun adventures.
Diane was a loving wife, the biggest fan of her children and grandchildren, and the truest of friends to all who knew her. She carried herself with integrity and humor, guided by her strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ throughout her life. The legacy, joy, and love that she brought to everyone will be tucked away in our hearts and remembered always. We will forever miss her laugh, smile, and dear presence but look ahead to seeing her once again in heaven.
She is survived by her dear husband, Gerald Cooper; brother, Jack (Patricia) Findley; her children, John (Barb) Bender, Scott (Dena) Bender, Debbie (John) Sage; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Marjorie Findley and sister, Jeanene Bartz.
A private service for the family will be held at Warm Beach Free Methodist Church in Stanwood, Wash. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in memory of Diane may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators or The American Cancer Society.
“The most thrilling thing about heaven is that Jesus Christ will be there. I will see Him face to face. Jesus Christ will meet us at the end of life’s journey.” - Billy Graham
