March 13, 1943 - May 26, 2018
Delores (Dee) Ann Anderson, 75, was tenderly welcomed home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 26, 2018 in Medford, Oregon. Delores was born March 13, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Letha Tish and Willard Parkhurst.
Dee moved to Sams Valley, Ore. in 1971 with her son, Roger. She had one brother, Earl; and three half siblings, Judy Perry, Gene Morgan, and Darlene Pa. She was the closest to her sister, Judy.
She met Lowell Anderson and fell in love. They were married October 11, 1985. The couple enjoyed traveling and gambling, especially at Fitzgerald's in Reno. They lived in Medford, where her son attended Crater High School. Lowell was a pharmacist and owned three local pharmacies that Dee worked in along with him as the business manager.
We will remember her fun teasing and loving heart that touched not just family but countless others. Dee was courageous and determined in her health struggles over the last two decades.
We will miss you always. Dee will live on in the memory of her husband, Lowell Anderson; sisters, Judy and Darlene; brother, Gene; stepchildren, Lori (Mike) Messenger, Tim (Lorrie) Anderson, Todd (Karin) Anderson, and Peggy (Paul) Lavallee; nieces, Vanessa Hackworth, Jessica Puls, and Melanie Perry; grandchildren, Sara, Michelle, Nicki, Ian, Mitchell, Kristen, and Katie; great nieces and nephews, Cael, Isabella, Jorja, Garrett, and Miya; and great-grandchildren, Tristan, Blake, Logan, Lily, Mia, and Isabella.
She is now safe in the Heavenly Father's home, joining her son, Roger Kern; her stepfather, Harry Morgan; her mother, Letha Morgan; and her brother, Earl Parkhurst.
We would like thank Gayle with Providence Hospice and Jenn and her loving staff at Avamere Residential Care for all their wonderful care.
A graveside service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Perl Siskiyou Memorial Park.
