Debbie Kay McQuiston

Debbie, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma and friend, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Debbie was born on January 25, 1951, in Merced, Calif., to Guy and Jessie Ramsey. On November 23, 1984, she married Bill McQuiston.

Debbie enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, gardening, going to yard sales, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Bill, of Central Point; daughter, Shannon Bluhm, of Grants Pass; son, Tim Fisher, of White City; parents, Guy and Jessie Ramsey, of Gold Hill; two brothers, Bud Ramsey, of Trail, and Dan Ramsey, of Gold Hill; Four sisters, Hazel Baxter, of Washington, Brenda Ramsey, Renny Grimm, and Terrie Rand, all of Gold Hill; two step daughters, Lea and Teralee; fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; seventy nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Phillis Cayo.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 29, 2007, at The Gold Hill Christian Center on the corner of Hayes St. and 5th Ave., Gold Hill, at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Joel William will officiate.

In Lieu of flowers, Debbie requested that a donation be made to your local school to help children in need.

Debbie is in Heaven with her sister, Phillis, sitting on the bank of the river with fishing pole in hand.

Potluck to follow service at Sports Park in Gold Hill.
