Carl Anthony "Tony" Morgan was born November 25, 1957, in Medford, Ore., and unexpectedly but peacefully died at his sister's home on Saturday, January 22, 2011.
Tony was a native of Jacksonville, Ore., and graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1976. He spent his lifetime in Southern Oregon as an avid fisherman, hunter, hunting guide and trapper. Tony's passions were his dogs, especially "Jack," and the great outdoors.
He is survived by parents, Carl and Norma Morgan, currently of Gold Hill, Ore.; his only son, Levi Carl Morgan and partner, Sammi Hennig; sisters Carleen Morgan Lawrence, Carolyn Morgan and partner, Jay Brand; loving nephews Morgan (Janna) Yates, Nicholas Anthony, Nathan A. Neimeyer; great-nephews Killian, Davis and Carter Anthony Yates; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout Oregon, Canada, California and Texas.
While no one can fill his place, great comfort is taken in that he is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and family members who have preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be held at the Morgan family plot at the historic Jacksonville Cemetery on Wednesday, Jan 26, 2011, at 1 p.m. Pastors Leo Smelser and Billy Lamotte will officiate.
