Beverly Fern Maplesden

Beverly Fern Maplesden, 83, passed away July 21, 2010, at her home on East Evans Creek in Jackson County. She was a lifetime resident of Southern Oregon and Northern California. She was born November 4, 1926, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Moses Paul and Eva Effie Elliott Franklin.

Beverly married Amos Arlington Maplesden February 11, 1943 in Medford, Ore. They were married for 58 years and had two sons. Her prioriety in life was family, nurturing and encouraging all of them. She was always a supporter of Child Evangelism Fellowship and was as a teacher for many years.

Beverly is survived by son, Sydney Amos Maplesden; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Amos; sisters, Elizabeth Rose, Hazel and Patricia; brother, Duane Arthur; son, Cecil Roy; and grandson, Sydney Bruce.

A service will be held July 31, 2010, at Conger~Morris Chapel, Central Point, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at the Antioch Cemetery; then on to Beverly's house on East Evans Creek for remembering and food. Beverly's nephew, Pastor Tommy Desavedo of the Eagle Valley Cowboy Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 334 Effie St., Medford, OR 97504.
